Side A literally starts with the crowd. The first track brings a sleazy UG disco-funk jam paired with a live recording of a classic Chicago MC callin’ his line dance. It's an infectious and fun run that sets the stage for the bounce that bathes the first side of the release. That segues into a jazzy latin funk number carved from the song's beloved live version (snatched off a really small desk), and its more thump-driven studio take. The final track is a classic rock killer, where the middle grooves get center stage and repetition is the hook. It’s a teeter-tottering, low-slung chugger that begs your inner air guitarist to close their eyes and hit the neck up high!

Moving into side B, the record kicks the tempo up with a newer sample that's a blend of techno, psyche rock and oddly enough, a dash of ska... It sounds like it would never work, and yet... it really does (and it's the personal fave of Thomas Banks, the magikal mastering engineer of the release). The next track's a mid-tempo chugger.  A tug-o-war between trip hop & psyche rock. Who will win? A tricky question, indeed... The 3rd slot of side B keeps it cosmic with a motorik venture into the spacey side of indie rock. Finally, the record closes with a quick, barn-burner of a joint that sounds like Dick Dale on crosstops.
